Itinerary
Tongyuan Gate
Begin at one of Chongqing's oldest city gates. Centuries ago, this gate marked the city's boundary before Chongqing expanded into the massive metropolis it is today.
Linhua Road – The Vertical Neighborhood
Experience one of Chongqing's most fascinating residential areas. Here, 15-storey apartment buildings have no elevators, and residents enter from different floors using sky bridges, steep staircases, and hillside walkways.
Chunsen Road – A Walk Through the 1980s
Travel back in time as you explore streets that still preserve the charm of old Chongqing. Historic buildings stand beside modern developments, offering a glimpse into everyday local life.
Chongqing Grand Auditorium
Admire one of Chongqing's most beautiful landmarks, where traditional Chinese architecture meets modern design. The large public square is also one of the city's rare flat open spaces.
Zhongshan 4th Road
Walk along one of Chongqing's most historic streets. During World War II, when Chongqing served as China's temporary capital, many important events took place here. Today, it's a peaceful, tree-lined avenue full of history and charm.
Cliffside Plank Road
